Why BoF CROSSROADS 2025 is Exciting!

Dear BoF Community,

Our first edition of BoF CROSSROADS in Dubai is just weeks away. Whether it’s the global fashion and luxury industries or other business sectors, the world’s center of gravity is shifting eastwards and southwards.

Amid these changing tides, forward-thinkers in these regions are realising the importance of fostering greater connections with other innovators in dynamic hubs. BoF CROSSROADS is our new invitation-only gathering of top business and creative leaders focused on spotlighting business opportunities and fast-movers in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Customers and business leaders in these frontier markets are often underserved, underrepresented and underestimated on the global stage, so this event is all about shining a light on them.

A limited number of invitation-only tickets remain to join us in person at the One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel in Dubai. To request an invitation, please complete this form.

A burgeoning city strategically positioned at this new global crossroads, Dubai is a fast-growing hub for retail, culture, and creativity and an apt stage for our packed programme.

We’ll begin in our first session, Opportunities, by unpacking the most exciting shifts taking place across the world’s fastest-growing markets, and broader implications for the fashion, luxury and beauty industries.

From Saudi Arabia, Diriyah Company’s Kiran Haslam, and Her Highness Princess Noura Bint Faisal Al Saud of Culture House will breakdown both the cultural and luxury transformation within the kingdom; from Thailand, actress Praya Lundberg will explore how the country’s growing soft power is shaping its influence on the global stage; and from Kazakhstan, Born Nomad’s Aika Alemi will delve into the cultural revolution unfolding within Central Asia, as the region redefines its identity through art, tradition, and modernisation. Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee will take us inside his colourful journey building a global luxury brand from the Global South.

Next, we’ll focus on success stories and incisive lessons during our second session, Execution. We’ll glean insights from the best-in-class creatives, executives and entrepreneurs leveraging shifts and building sustainable growth.

Streetwear experts Felipe Matayoshi, Anand S Ahuja and Iretidayo Zaccheaus will share how local trends, innovation, and cultural influence within Brazil, India and Nigeria shapes these exciting new streetwear hotspots; MaXhosa Africa’s Laduma Ngxokolo, Alara’s Reni Folawiyo and Pink Mango and Asanti’s Maryse Mbonyumutwa will dive into the exciting opportunities emerging on the continent, highlighting industry leaders’ insights on the fashion value chain, from fibre to finished garment; and Al Tayer Insignia managing director and Ounass chief executive officer Khalid Al Tayer will join me to share the key strategies and best practices for achieving operational excellence within the Gulf region.

Finally, we will release some energy from a packed day and come together for an immersive closing experience showcasing Dubai’s unique landscape. Here, we will reflect on the insights and learnings from the previous two days and bid farewell to old and new friends.

A limited number of invitation-only tickets remain to join us in person at the One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel in Dubai. To request an invitation, please complete this form.

There’s so much in store, and I hope you can join us.

Kind regards,
