With a length of 3,880 mm, the ID.Every1 is positioned between the former up! (3,600 mm), the ID.2all (4,050 mm) and the current Polo (4,074 mm). Volkswagen says that the interior should be enough for four occupants with a luggage compartment of 305 litres.
Volkswagen’s future plans
Volkswagen has big plans for the future that include a new electric urban car in Autumn 2025. Then there will be nine models by 2027 including the production version of the ID.2all for less than €25,000 and the ID.Every1 for about €20,000. The ID.2 will also share its platform and electric motor with the ID.Every1. This would help in saving some research, development and manufacturing costs.
Volkswagen’s India plans
Volkswagen recently announced that they will be bringing the Golf GTI and Tiguan R-Line to the Indian market. In an official statement released by the carmaker, it is stated that the two new carlines will be introduced in the early second quarter of 2025. It is expected that the new models will make their debut during the company’s annual conference which normally takes place in May or June.
The current lineup of Volkswagen India consists of the Virtus, Taigun and the Tiguan. The carmaker reported that it saw a 3 per cent growth in sales volumes from January to February 2025 as compared to the same period last year.
