UP Police recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced a significant update regarding the recruitment process for 2023. In a crucial decision, the examination mode for the posts of Sub Inspector (Confidential), Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Police Sub Inspector (Accounts) has been changed. The decision comes following important government orders issued on June 19, 2024, by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, regarding the recruitment process. According to a notification shared by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on social media, the written examination for the aforementioned posts, as stated in Clause 4.1 of the notification dated December 28, 2023, will be held offline instead of online.
Key update on the examination format
The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board clarified the change in its official communication. “In light of recent government orders, the previously scheduled online exam for the recruitment of Sub Inspector and Assistant Police Sub Inspector posts will now be an offline exam,” the board stated. The shift from an online to an offline format has been made to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the recruitment process.
