Three children and a woman have been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing attack on Monday morning in a suburb in Sydney’s north-west.
New South Wales police said emergency services were called to a home in Baulkham Hills about 5.20am on Monday, following reports that multiple people had been stabbed.
Police found a 10-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and 46-year-old woman with stab wounds.
All are believed to be known to each other.
They were treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Westmead hospital in a stable condition.
The woman was escorted to hospital by police. A police guard was also in place at the hospital.
Police have begun an investigation, but said they were not looking for any other parties in relation to the incident.
