A new restaurant in Bengaluru has sparked a discussion on X (formerly Twitter) for its distinctive aeroplane-themed interiors. A post thread about the same recently grabbed many eyeballs online. X user Srihari Karanth shared photos and a short video clip of this food establishment. He also shared his own views on this new opening. “A new restaurant in Bannerghatta road, Bengaluru, which has a proper aeroplane as a dining place. They even issue boarding passes for seat reservation,” he wrote. “The menu at this new ‘Tiger Aero Restaurant’ was very limited. Food was average. It’s good for kids as they can experience the inside of an aeroplane. Nice unique concept,” he added.

In the attached photos, we see an example of the boarding pass issued to the restaurant customers. It had details like the date, time, seat number, address, QR code and even a mock ‘flight number.’ The video clip shows us the interiors of the food joint, which looks quite similar to those of a plane. The key difference is that there are tables placed between seats on either side of the aisle facing each other – which allows a more convenient restaurant service setup. As per the photos, the exterior of Tiger Aero Restaurant is also like that of an aeroplane. Thus, guests may feel like they are actually stepping inside one when they choose to dine here. As per the restaurant’s website, it has a multi-cuisine menu featuring Indian, Chinese and Italian food.

Smart thinking by the restaurant owners. Passengers are used to rubbish food on flights hence they won’t complain.— Cambyses X (@KiloMikeSiera) February 11, 2025
Someone should open an airport lounge next to it, will do very well.— Sandeep Kelvadi (@teknicsand) February 11, 2025
