Tejasswi Prakash has returned to television with Celebrity MasterChef and is showing off her culinary skills on the reality show. Prior to this, Tejasswi had participated in Bigg Boss 15 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, and shared the screen with some popular celebrities. The actress had the chance to work with Rohit Shetty as a contestant on the stunt-based show and also starred in the filmmaker’s debut Marathi production, School College Ani Life. Recently, in an interview, Tejasswi opened up about her bond with the filmmaker and why she thinks he is a kindhearted person.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Tejasswi was shown a few pictures of her with Rohit Shetty. Commenting on the same, she stated, “This is me and Rohit sir and our masti. He is very fond of me.” The actress added, “He is that one judge; there’s nobody like him, there is nobody in the world like him. I have met a lot of people, and that’s why I say this, trust me. Because if you are a good person and you say things with the nicest intentions, Rohit Shetty is the man who will accept you for the intentions that you have.”
Tejasswi mentioned that even though she said the most random things, Rohit Shetty would take it as a joke. She believes that had it been anyone else, they would have asked her to behave given the position. She exclaimed, “ He doesn’t have that and he can have that. Have you seen the man? He is huge. He is tall and broad, and he can literally have that about him, and he still does it. He is a softy from inside. He is such a nice person; he is the best.”
After working with Rohit Shetty on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, Tejasswi was cast in the filmmaker’s first Marathi production School College Ani Life in 2023. The film also starred Karan Parab, and the premise revolved around a youth who had experienced the hardships and joys of childhood and adulthood. It’s directed by Vihan Suryavanshi, and along with Rohit, Pavitra Gandhi and Vivek Shah in association with Reliance Entertainment, co-produced it.
Apart from Tejasswi, Celebrity MasterChef includes Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar, Abhijeet Sawant, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh, also known as Mr. Faisu, Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh and Chandan Prabhakar as contestants. The show started airing on January 27 on Sony TV.
