Celebrity MasterChef currently airing on Sony TV has captivated the viewers with its unique premise and reality drama. The latest episode saw Tejasswi Prakash acing the pasta cooking challenge and winning the judge’s hearts with her seafood risotto, which even earned her a first spoon tap from Chef Ranveer Brar. After receiving heartfelt praise from judges, the actress broke down in happy tears and expressed how desperately she needed this approval.
Judges Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar could not stop praising the texture and flavours of her dish. Dipika Kakar was also happy for Tejasswi, sharing that she had finally achieved her goal after much effort. Tejasswi had been struggling in the previous challenges, and receiving black aprons for her dishes.
Gaurav Khanna consoled Tejasswi and asked her to stop crying. He encouraged her and even made a joke that she would continue complaining about not receiving the spoon lift.
A teary-eyed Tejasswi told the judges that she would call her partner Karan Kundrra to express her displeasure at not having received the spoon-lift appreciation from Chef Ranveer yet. He would counsel her to put less emphasis on it and instead aim for excellence in her work. Tejasswi confessed, “I used to keep telling Karan that abhi tak mujhe chamach nahi mila hai. He would always be like itna kyun badhava de rahi hai. Uski bhookh mein aur zyada na kar baithe. I seriously wanted to have that spoon.”
In other news, Celebrity MasterChef’s host Farah Khan recently came into headlines after appearing to make fun of actor Gaurav Khanna’s colour blindness. Many found Farah’s comment offensive and inappropriate. When Gaurav served a dish to the judges, he disclosed about being diagnosed with colour blindness.
Farah Khan responded, “What rubbish!” She then asked Gaurav to determine the colour of Vikas’ jacket to test him. Farah then tricked Gaurav by pointing out a blue jacket when Vikas was actually sporting a red one. “The jacket looked somewhere between red and orange,” Gaurav said. Many users termed Farah’s actions rude when the video went viral.
