Surbhi Chandna and her husband Karan Sharma will soon complete one year since they tied nuptial knots. Sharing her ‘strange happy feeling’ ahead of the special occasion, she dropped a touching post on Instagram on Tuesday. In her post, she recalled the difficult time, two months after her wedding and how her husband helped her navigate the complex emotions. The unseen picture attached to the heart-touching post showed the actress as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her husband, meanwhile, hugged her from behind to lift up her mood.

She goes on to highlight how social media has become a platform to showcase only the good times and not lows. Reflecting on her feelings ahead of her one-year wedding anniversary, the actress also pens down her learning from the year 2024 and marriage in general.
Surbhi Chandna wrote, “Its never easy when you are trying to build a life together as Husband Wife you are only ever adjusting, compromising & it’s so much easier being girlfriend boyfriend (you are writing your own manual).”
Further sharing what made her break down in tears, Surbhi Chandna added, “I missed my parents so much right after I got married and would break down missing my dady the most & then The responsibilities that came along no one ever told you and ever prepared you for it. You are just about coping with one role and then something else erupts and then the loop is LOOPING.”
Talking about her joint ventures with Karan last year, Surbhi Chandna revealed that they started working on their Music Label/ Production as producers with no help or guidance in the business which sometimes resulted in fights. Despite the hurdles, she said, “We Loved, helped each other heal just like the above picture, uplifted each other’s spirits.”
Another excerpt from her note read, “They say surviving the first year of marriage is the toughest.. rightfully so it’s definitely important to be on the same page with your partner .. especially when you have dated for god damn 14 years.. god knows how our parents made it look easy!”
