Rushali Yadav and Harsh Arora got officially engaged on March 3. The pair, who fell in love on the Sunny Leone-hosted show Splitsvilla X5, celebrated this exciting chapter in their lives with their fans and followers, sharing a series of enchanting photos and videos. But ever since their engagement, the internet flooded them with mixed reactions. Some called their relationship ‘fake,’ while others questioned why they rushed to get engaged. Well now, the entrepreneur and model have finally addressed these comments through her social media.
On March 16, Rushali took to her Instagram and posted a video where she expressed that she was finally engaged. In the clip, she also shared her thoughts behind the ongoing trolls and explained the reason behind her decision. Shutting down the negativity and trolls, she said that if you know the person is right for you, then why should you not take the step?
Addressing the criticism, Rushali stated, “I got some very nice comments and love from you all, but there were some negatives, like, ‘Maybe they are rushing’ or ‘Maybe they are faking it.’ If you think that way, you don’t know us. You don’t know me, what kind of person I am and what I want from life. I am a very family-oriented person. I don’t believe in focusing on my career first and then getting married. If you know the person is right for you, then why not? You can grow together, uplift each other, and that’s what truly matters.”
Calling her engagement “dhamakedaar” and full of love, Rushali shared, “My family is crazy about dancing, and my engagement was all about love and happiness. My mother got a little emotional since my brother couldn’t attend, but I was grateful that the rest of my family was there. Without family, everything is incomplete.”
The Splitsvilla X5 couple have had four engagement ceremonies, but this one, held on March 3, was their official engagement in the presence of their families, she concluded.
Harsh and Rushali announced the start of their new chapter in their lives by sharing romantic photos from their engagement ceremony. The collaboration post dropped on Instagram had a sweet caption with their engagement date – “03.03.25,” along with a ring and an evil eye emoji.
Rushali Yadav took the plunge and proposed to Harsh in a romantic setting. In October 2024, she booked a helicopter and surprised Harsh by popping the big question with the ring.
