Avika Gor is one of the actresses who has successfully made the move from television to film. In 2008, she rose to prominence as Anandi in the daily soap Balika Vadhu. The actress rose to stardom at an early age and has now been part of many films both in Bollywood and the South Indian film industry. Recently, the actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport as briefly posed for the paparazzi before heading inside.

Avika Goa made her Hindi television debut with the horror series Ssshhhh…Koi Hai in 2007. However, her role in the soap opera Balika Vadhu made her household fame. She even won the Best Child Artist award at the Indian Television Academy Awards three years in a row, in 2008, 2009, and 2010, as well as the Best Actress – Drama (Jury) award for the series. She then appeared in Sasural Simar Ka, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Laado – Veerpur Ki Mardani, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and several other television shows.
Avika worked in Hindi films as a child as well. She was part of Shahid Kapoor starrer Paathshaala back in 2010. Recently, Avika shared a photo reminiscing about her first meeting with the Bollywood actor. The adorable photo shows the young actress posing beside Shahid. She was dressed in a school uniform while Shahid wore a white shirt and black waistcoat. She shared the photo, tagging the actor and wrote, “Jab we met.” Moreover, she has been part of films like 1920, Bloody Ishq and more.
Avika made her South Indian film debut with the 2013 film Uyyala Jampala, and her outstanding performance earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu at the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards. She was last seen in the 2023 Telugu film Vadhuvu as Anjuri Indu.
