Shark Tank India season 4’s investors have already invested a whopping Rs 94.8 Crore into various innovative startups.

Shark Tank India has changed the way people view startups. As the first ever business reality show in the country, it has become an important platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas in front of top investors. The fourth season of the show introduced two new sharks, Kunal Bahl, the Co-founder of Titan Capital and Snapdeal, and Veeba founder Viraj Bahl, alongside familiar faces like Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, Ritesh Agarwal, Azhar Iqubal and Varun Dua. As the season continues, these investors have already poured in a whopping Rs 94.8 crore into various innovative startups. In this article, we’ll break down the individual investments made by each shark so far.
According to reports, Aman, Co-Founder and CMO of boAt, leads the list with an impressive Rs 17.4 crore investment across various businesses. He is followed by Ritesh, Founder and Group CEO of OYO, who has contributed Rs 16.3 crore, Anupam, Founder and Director of Shaadi.com, has backed startups with Rs 10.8 crore, while Kunal has invested nearly Rs 10.2 crore. Peyush, Co-Founder and CEO of Lenskart, has put in Rs 10.1 crore and Namita, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, has invested Rs 9.8 crore. Vineeta, Co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, has also supported entrepreneurs with Rs 9.3 crore investments.
The other sharks, like Azhar Iqubal, Founder of Inshorts has invested Rs 1 crore, while ACKO’s founder Varun Dua, has contributed Rs 53.3 lakh. Viraj Bahl, one of the newest sharks, has made the smallest investment so far, contributing Rs 45 lakh.
Several brands managed to secure impressive deals on Shark Tank India season 4, including Culture Circle, who received Rs 3 crore for a 3% equity stake from Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal. Accessories brand NOOE accepted Peyush Bansal’s Rs 5 crore offer for a 51% controlling stake. KIWI Kisan Window got Rs 2.5 crore for a 10% equity stake from Kunal Bahl and Speed Kitchen, a cloud kitchen startup, secured Rs 2 crore for a 6% equity deal from Ritesh Agarwal, Azhar Iqubal and Kunal Bahl.
Meanwhile, 7 Ring received Rs 75 lakh for a 1.5% equity stake, Innergize secured Rs 1 crore for 4.2% equity and Sugar free ice cream brand Go Zero got Rs 1 crore for a 1.5% equity stake from Namita Thapar. Beverage startup Aquapeya locked in Rs 70 lakh for a 3% equity stake along with a 1% royalty.
