Shark Tank India Season 4 captivates audiences with its exciting pitches and educational business talks, keeping them glued to their screens. The most recent episode featured Eat Better Co., a family-run healthy snack firm. Run by Mridula and Vidushi Kanoria, this mother in law and daughter in law duo turns traditional recipes into nutritional treats. They enthralled the Sharks with their creative concept and strategic approach.

The duo started Eat Better Co. as an experiment in August 2020. The founders gave samples to all of the Sharks. Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh had issues regarding packaging and ‘high protein’ promises on specific items, which the pitchers addressed. While they made their offer, Anupam Mittal was the first to decline making a bid. Next, Namita Thapar made an offer of Rs 50 lakh for 0.5% ownership plus a 1% royalty until the investment was recouped. Following this, Ritesh Agarwal opted to leave, claiming that the founders had already got solid partners.

Vineeta Singh made an offer of Rs 50 lakh for 1.5% stock and no royalty, while Kunal Bahl startled everyone with a bold offer of Rs 2.5 crore for 5% equity. After talking among themselves, the pitchers returned, aiming to bring all three Sharks on board with the idea. But the Sharks declined. Namita stuck by her proposal, claiming that she had made them a fair deal.

In an attempt to strike a deal, Kunal Bahl advised the founders that if they are focused on valuation, they should consider Namita’s offer but “if you need a strong partner who will support you for the long term, say 10-15 years…” Namita quickly interrupted saying, “Hello, Kunal, I am a strong partner. I am an extremely strong partner, what are you saying.” In the end, the pitchers accepted Namita Thapar’s deal. As they left the stage, Namita playfully challenged Kunal Bahl, saying, “Ae Kunal, tu mil mujhe! Aa jao, tank ke bahar milo. Kya bol rahe the? Kaun strong hai? (Kunal you meet me outside the show). Her remark left the other Sharks laughing out loud.
