Television actresses Rubina Dilaik and Srishty Rode were best friends once. They became close after working together on the Zee TV show Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed, which aired for just a few months in 2013. Until recently, the two actresses would share posts for one another. They even supported each other during their time on Bigg Boss, but it looks like their dynamics might have changed.
Fans noticed that Rubina and Srishty, who often used to share pictures and videos with one another, have now stopped doing so. They have also unfollowed each other on Instagram. Their sudden move has left people on the internet wondering if the two actresses had a fallout.
Taking it to Reddit, a user shared a post titled “Why did Rubina and Shristy unfollow each other on Instagram? What’s the tea?” Immediately, other Redditors started speculating about the reason behind their unexpected fallout, with even one of the users saying, “I heard it’s because of Srishti’s ex who was good friends with Rubina and Abhinav. The couples used to hang out together before she left him because of Rohit Suchanti “
To this, another user pointed out, “But that happened way before na? Rubina and Sristy stopped being friends in 2023.”
“I think Shristi was Rubina’s closest friend since 2013, as they did Punar Vivaah together. Since then, they seemed inseparable, always posting together on social media. Even during Bigg Boss, Rubina supported Shristi, and Shristi did the same for Rubina during BB14. Things seemed fine until kkk, after that they just stopped posting and talking to each other,” wrote a different user.
Someone else penned, “Both were such good friends, don’t know what happened… Shristy liked Rubina’s post a few weeks ago, but then Rubina cleared her following list, and both unfollowed each other.”
While neither Rubina nor Srishty have spoken publicly about what happened, the sudden change in their online behaviour has surely sparked much buzz regarding their friendship.
Rubina Dilaik is currently seen on the cooking-based reality comedy show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment season 2. She is paired on the show with her Bigg Boss 14 co-contestant Rahul Vaidya. Meanwhile, Srishty Rode was last seen on-screen in the comedy show Madness Macheyenge – India Ko Hasayenge.
