RRB ALP CBT 2 revised schedule announced: Check detailed timetable here

In an important development for candidates appearing in the Railway Recruitment Board‘s (RRB) CEN-01/2024 recruitment process, the second stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT-II), originally slated for March 19 and 20, 2025, has been officially rescheduled. According to the notice released by RRB, the revised examination dates are now set for May 2 and May 6, 2025.

Who will appear for the rescheduled CBT-II?

The decision to shift the exam dates affects a specific group of candidates:

  • All those who were assigned to the first shift on March 19, 2025, but did not complete their exam.
  • All candidates who were scheduled for the second shift on March 19, 2025, and the first shift on March 20, 2025.

Candidates outside this group who already completed their exams on March 19 are not affected by this change.

Revised reporting schedule

Candidates appearing for the rescheduled tests are required to adhere to the following reporting times at their designated examination centres:

  • First shift: Report by 07:30 AM
  • Second shift: Report by 12:30 PM

Adherence to these timings is crucial for smooth entry and timely commencement of the examination.

  • Access their e-call letters 4 days prior to the respective examination dates.

Advisory on official communication and fraud prevention

RRB has strongly advised candidates to rely only on the official RRB websites for authentic information regarding the recruitment process. The notice specifically warns against being misled by unauthorised sources and fake news circulating through unofficial channels.
In addition, the board has issued a stern caution against touts and fraudsters who might lure candidates with false promises of guaranteed job placements in exchange for money. RRB reaffirmed that all recruitment is strictly merit-based, relying solely on performance in the Computer-Based Tests.
