The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the cancellation of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Stage 2 for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment examination scheduled for March 19, 2025. Both Shift 1 and Shift 2 of the exam, conducted at a few designated centres, faced technical issues, leading to the decision to reschedule.

Reason for cancellation

The RRB cited technical glitches as the primary reason behind the cancellation. According to the official notice, candidates encountered issues during Shift 1, where the question papers failed to load properly on the server, despite being seated at their systems for an extended period. As a result, the board decided to cancel both shifts for the day to ensure fairness.
