Radio Jockey and social media personality RJ Mahvash recently spoke about her thoughts on love, relationship and marriage in a podcast with Yuvaa amid the ongoing dating speculations surrounding her and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She made it clear that she is currently single and has no immediate plans for marriage.
“I am very much single, and I don’t understand the concept of marriage in today’s time,” Mahvash stated firmly. She went on to explain her views on relationships, emphasizing that she is not someone who indulges in casual dating. “I am someone who would date only when I have to marry. I don’t go on casual dates because I will only date someone I want to get married to. I am that person, like in the film Dhoom, who sees his wife and kids behind the bike.”
Elaborating further, she mentioned that she has deliberately put a halt on marriage-related decisions. “Shaadi ka concept samajh nahi aa raha hai (I don’t understand the concept of marriage), so I have put a halt to it.”
In an intriguing revelation, RJ Mahvash shared that she was once engaged at a very young age but decided to call it off. “I was engaged at the age of 19, and I called it off at the age of 21. Growing up in a small town like Aligarh, our only conditioning was that we needed to find a good husband and get married. That used to be our goal,” she added.
While her recent spotting with Yuzvendra Chahal sparked rumors, Mahvash’s statement gives different perspective regarding any relationship rumours. She continues to focus on her career and personal growth, keeping her romantic life on hold until she truly understands what she wants from marriage.
