OMCs slash commercial LPG cylinder prices by ₹7



Oil marketing companies—Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)—have announced a reduction in the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹7. The revised prices are effective from today, February 1.

However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders, which have remained the same since August 1, 2024.

The latest revision comes after the last price cut of ₹14.5 in January. Following the price revision, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹1,797 in Delhi, down from ₹1,804. In Mumbai, the price has been reduced to ₹1,749.50 from ₹1,756. In Kolkata, the revised rate is ₹1,907 compared to the previous ₹1,911, while in Chennai, it now stands at ₹1,959.50 instead of ₹1,966.

Meanwhile, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged. A 14.2 kg cylinder continues to cost ₹803 in Delhi, ₹802.50 in Mumbai, ₹829 in Kolkata, and ₹818.50 in Chennai.
