L’Oréal US Appoints New Head of Acquisitions

Ali Goldstein has been appointed L’Oréal US’ new head of acquisitions, the French conglomerate announced on Thursday.

In her new role, Goldstein will help identify American beauty brands for investment or purchase across L’Oréal’s mass, luxury, dermatological and professional divisions. She will report into David Greenberg, chief executive of L’Oréal USA and president of the company’s North American operations.

Prior to her appointment, Goldstein was US president for L’Oréal Paris, and has also held leadership roles for makeup brand Maybelline and haircare label Garnier, experiences which make her “the perfect candidate to lead our company’s brand acquisition strategy into the future,” Greenberg said in a statement.

Goldstein succeeds Carol Hamilton, who will retire after 40 years with the conglomerate.
