Rumours are swirling that Faisal Shaikh and Jannat Zubair have parted ways. Just days ago, Farah Khan seemingly confirmed their relationship on Celebrity MasterChef, making the alleged split even more surprising. Speculation began when eagle-eyed fans noticed that the duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram. While neither has commented on the rumours, Jannat’s latest post has only intensified the buzz.
On March 11, the 23-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from a stunning palatial terrace. Jannat exuded effortless charm in a laid-back ensemble featuring a black top, relaxed-fit trousers, and a white shawl. While some photos showcased her striking elegant poses, others had a more candid feel. However, one particular snap stole the spotlight—someone, completely wrapped in the white shawl, resembled a playful, ghost-like figure.
Jannat’s caption only fueled the breakup rumors further. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be,” followed by a white heart emoji.
In no time, fans started flooding the comment section, with fans being particularly heartbroken after seeing the caption. One fan said, “Jannat caption literally pointed toward breakup with Faisu. So it’s ended now.” Another quipped, “She has cried a lot. Her teary eyes itself say everything in the second picture.”
“6-year relationship never ends like this, pray for them, will be back again together,” said a different fan.
Someone else added, “You are strong and don’t look back. sending lots of love.”
FYI, Faisal and Jannat reportedly began dating back in 2020. The two, who have worked on various projects together, never confirmed their relationship publicly and have always maintained that they were good friends. However, their fans always shipped the duo.
Back in 2022, Faisal had said, “We have been friends for years and continue to be very good friends. We have done many projects together and will do many more. Logo ko aisa bohot lagta hai par aisa kuchh bhi nahi hai (People assume that we are dating but that’s not true),” as per Bollywood Shaadis.
