The highly anticipated Laughter Chefs 2 will return to Colors TV on January 25. While numerous Season 1 participants return, this season will also feature new partnerships, giving a unique twist to the show. Among others, Samarth Jurel is going to appear in season 2 of Laughter Chefs with Abhishek Kumar. Latest reports mention that Samarth has injured himself on the set while taking on a cooking challenge.
As per a report by ETimes, Samarth got hurt while filming an episode for Laughter Chefs Season 2. The actor accidentally burned his hand while working in the kitchen. While the situation was clearly alarming for the crew and viewers, Samarth’s quick thinking and prompt response of the on-set medical team reportedly helped to limit the injury. The wound was not too severe, and Samarth is likely to recover soon completely. The cooking challenge required him to make a dish under pressure, and while making it, he lost focus for a moment, resulting in the accident.
Samarth had competed against Abhishek Kumar in Bigg Boss 17. On Laughter Chefs 2 they have been partnered together. Speaking about working with Abhishek, Samarth stated, “Abhishek is doing really well. He’s like a brother to me now, and we’ve become great friends. During the Bigg Boss show, I didn’t really have that kind of vibe, but after the show, we talked a lot and met up. I felt really good about it—he’s a great guy. It’s going to be a lot of fun with him around. That’s why he’s here. I guess he’s my partner for this, and we had a blast shooting the first episode together!”
Aside from Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar, the upcoming season of Laughter Chefs will have Rahul Vaidya, Sudesh Lehri, Rubina Dilaik, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Mannara Chopra, Elvish Yadav and Abdu Rozik as participants. Bharti Singh will host the show, and celebrity chef Harpal Singh will serve as the judge once again. Laughter Chefs Season 2 will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm. Several promos featuring the unique pairs this year have already created a lot of buzz.
