Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, is keeping viewers glued to their screens with the right dose of emotions and laughter. This week, the host is inviting kids to the host seats under KBC Juniors. The latest episode kicked off with contestant Ishita Gupta. The young genius, a seventh grader from Bengaluru, Karnataka, not only showcased her vast general knowledge but also impressed the audience and host Amitabh Bachchan with her love for fashion.
Ishita successfully answered the questions one after the other. As the game continued, she casually expressed her admiration for Amitabh Bachchan’s vibrant and colourful jacket, letting him know how much she loves it. Pleased by Ishita’s compliment, Big B humorously remarked that he was wondering why she hadn’t complimented his jacket earlier, given her deep interest in fashion. Ishita then curiously asked him where he bought his jacket from.
The host playfully responded, “Humko khud nahi maalum ki ye kahan banti hai. Jab hum yahan aate hain kaam karne, toh apna pyjama-kurta pehen kar aate hain. Sab khula-khula rehta hai, accha lagta hai. Yahan par humko pehna dete hain, ye humara thodi na hai, ye toh sarkari hai. Humara nahi hai kuch bhi.” (I myself do not know where it is made. When I come here to work, I wear my pyjama-kurta. On the set, they let me wear these outfits; they are not mine.)
His witty reply left everyone, including Ishita, in splits. Coming to her gameplay, Ishita walked away with a massive prize of Rs 5,000,000
After Ishita Gupta decided to quit the show, Big B proceeded with the ‘Fastest Finger First’ round. Among all the contestants, Vaishnavi Ramdasi managed to answer most quickly and ultimately secured her spot on the hot seat. The contestant, a student of Class 5 began the game but was freezing because of the cold temperature on the set. Noticing that Vaishnavi was feeling cold, Big B immediately called for a jacket to keep her comfortable. He also instructed the team to adjust the temperature accordingly. The thoughtful gesture by Big B quickly won the hearts of the audience.
