Last year, the pair tied the knot in a traditional Marathi ceremony in Mumbai. They announced their wedding on Instagram with breathtaking photos. On their special day, Divyaa and Apurva wore matching outfits. The actress opted for a stunning purple lehenga with intricate embroidery. She accessorised with multi-tiered diamond and emerald jewellery, paired with a matching dupatta.
Apurva complemented her look with a purple kurta featuring similar designs.
“As I grew up, my idea of marriage kept evolving. There were times I thought I would never get married and other times when I would think, ‘Oh man, I want to get married!’ We all go through this, right? But now, after getting married, I can proudly say that I don’t believe in men or women being superior,” Divyaa shared in an interview last year while reflecting on married life.
She further expressed that there is no competition between them, saying, “My marriage with Apurva has made me realise that we complete each other. Men and women complement one another; it’s not about competition. There are things a woman can do that a man might not, just as there are things a man can do that a woman might not. It’s about balance, not rivalry.”
