The pay gaps at nearly 8,000 employers across Australia were revealed on Tuesday by the government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency, which found Australian women earned 78c on average for every $1 earned by men, and that across the country, 72.2% of 5,347 employers have a gender pay gap that favours men.
