GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has issued a notice regarding a change in the examination center for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 for the exams scheduled on February 15 and 16. Candidates who were assigned Prayagraj centers will now have their examination in Lucknow. IIT Roorkee made this decision due to the large congregation expected at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
Further, IIT Roorkee has also issued fresh admit cards for the candidates who will now appear at the Lucknow centers. The official website reads, ‘GATE-2025 exam centres changed to Lucknow for candidates who were earlier allotted Prayagraj for 15th and 16th February 2025 amid Mahakumbh. The candidates are advised to download the freshly released admit cards from the GOAPS portal.’
GATE 2025 revised admit card: Steps to download
Candidates can follow these steps to check and download their admit cards for GATE 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e.,gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the applicant’s login link.
Step 3: Login to your account and download your fresh admit card.
Step 4: Take a printout of your admit card for future reference.
Candidates can click on this link to check and download the revised GATE 2025 admit cards.
IIT Roorkee is conducting GATE 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and the results are expected to be declared in March. Earlier, for the February 1 and 2 examinations, IIT Roorkee had also changed the examination center for candidates appearing in Prayagraj.
