NEW DELHI: Following India’s thrilling Champions Trophy 2025 victory, a hilarious video featuring Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana has taken over social media.
The trio recreated the iconic meme moment — “Final match. You perform. What happening?” — during the post-match celebrations in Dubai on March 9, bringing back a viral cricket meme with a desi twist.
In the original clip that inspired the moment, a reporter — struggling with English — famously questioned West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell in the Bangladesh Premier League, saying, “Final match. You perform. What happening?”

Russell’s confused reaction and the exchange quickly became an internet classic. That same clip was once re-enacted by KKR stars Sunil Narine and Russell after their IPL title win last year.
Now, it was India’s turn to relive the fun.
After a hard-fought win over New Zealand in the final, emotions were high — and so was the humor.
In the recreated skit during Harshit Rana’s live, Arshdeep played the baffled “reporter,” while Hardik and Harshit took turns as the confused cricketers, mimicking the original exchange to perfection.

The video had fans in splits, adding a light-hearted highlight to India’s big day.
On the field, it was a complete team performance. Rohit Sharma led from the front with a gritty 76 off 83 balls, while Axar Patel, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer chipped in with crucial knocks.

Chasing 252, India sealed the win by four wickets. With the ball, spinners Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav each picked up two wickets to restrict New Zealand.
With back-to-back ICC trophies now under their belt after the T20 World Cup last year and now the Champions Trophy, the Men in Blue not only proved their mettle — they showed they know how to celebrate in style.
