TV actress Deepika Singh is no stranger to making waves with her fun and energetic dance videos. Recently, a clip from the sets of her ongoing TV serial Mangal Lakshmi has caught the attention of social media users. In the video, Deepika, dressed in a stunning saree, could be seen dancing to the catchy tunes of Dhadak’s upbeat track Zingaat.
The dance sequence, which was a part of the scene in the serial, had the actress channelling a playful, tipsy vibe as she showed off her moves. What made this video even more interesting was the behind-the-scenes glimpse of the sheer amount of hard work and dedication a show’s cast and crew put in to make it a success. As the clip played, a voice from behind the camera guided Deepika through her steps. At first, she was dancing solo, but as the scene progressed, a group of male background dancers and fellow actors joined in to amp up the energy.
A paparazzo page shared the clip on Instagram with a playful caption, asking the online users to guess how many calories Deepika might have burned while filming the sequence. The video quickly found its way to the actress herself, who did not become a killjoy and responded in the comments, saying, “Calories to morning workout se hi burn ho jaati hai.”
The 35-year-old actress, who is best for her role in the TV series Diya Aur Baati Hum, made her comeback with Mangal Lakshmi. Her performance has impressed the audience while the show’s unexpected twists and turns continue to captivate them. The family drama, which is soon going to complete a year since it was premiered, has also been working well on the TRP charts.
In an interview with ETimes, Deepika discussed the show’s success and expressed her gratitude to everyone. She said, “I am overwhelmed with emotions. After so many years, seeing such an amazing reaction from the audience feels incredible.” The actress further mentioned that the viewers can expect a “quite interesting” plot in the coming days.
Expressing that she is happy to witness fans’ response to the on-screen chemistry between the two leads, Deepika added, “As an actor, it is quite important to deliver all the shades of a character, and fans have been accepting it. It is a big achievement that fans are loving our work, and they have been constantly showering us with all the love.”
