Celebrity MasterChef, the Farah Khan-hosted cooking reality show, is getting interesting and intense with each passing day with judges bringing up more challenges to test the contestants’ culinary skills. As the show is heading towards its finale, fresh reports suggest that it now has its Top 5 contestants who will be fighting for the winner’s trophy.
According to ETimesTV, videos circulating online depict that contestants Rajiv Adatia, Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna and Faisal Shaikh have secured their places in the finale, overcoming their fellow participants.
This indicates Archana Gautam, Kabita Singh and Usha Nadkarni’s elimination in the upcoming episodes of Celebrity MasterChef. Earlier, Ayesha Jhulka’s wildcard participation added a little spice to the tournament, but she was also eliminated. Apart from Ayesha, contestants like Chandan Prabhakar and Abhijeet Sawant have been eliminated from the house till now.
Talking about Dipika Kakar, who was earlier considered one of the strongest contenders to lift the trophy, decided to quit the show mid-way due to her health issues. The actress confessed that she had to withdraw from the show due to unexpected and extreme pain in her left shoulder.
The show marked Dipika’s return to the small screen after a hiatus of five years. She was among the most favourite contestants. Her last episode on the show was the one featuring actress Hina Khan and her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal.
In the latest promo of Celebrity MasterChef, we saw the contestants paired in two for a new challenge wherein one partner will cook the food, while the other one has to sit on the cycle machine and keep the paddle moving. One of the clips showcases Nikki Tamboli feeling tired after cycling for so long, while her partner Tejasswi Prakash cooks the food. In another clip, we saw a fan banter between Rajiv Adatia and Kabita Singh.
Celebrity MasterChef features star Chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar as the main judges, who rate the dishes prepared by the contestants and Farah Khan as the host. The show premieres on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. Who are you rooting for?
