Tejasswi Prakash expressed her frustration that despite her best efforts in the kitchen to cook perfectly, it wasn’t happening.

Celebrity MasterChef continues to deliver high-stakes drama, with intense competition and emotional moments keeping audiences hooked. As the competition intensifies, the pressure mounts on the celebrity chefs, pushing them to their culinary limits. Having said that, the emotional temperature soared high for contestant Tejasswi Prakash as she found herself facing another bottom three, leaving her visibly upset. In the latest episode, chef Ranveer Brar was seen announcing the bottom three contestants, which included Tejasswi Prakash.
At this moment, Tejasswi couldn’t hold back her tears. Farah asked, “Teja, why are you crying?” To this, the Naagin actress tearfully confessed, “Every time you announce, I am in the bottom three, bottom three.”
Fellow contestant Dipika Kakar tried to comfort her, but the actress’s disappointment was palpable. Tejasswi Prakash expressed her frustration that despite her best efforts in the kitchen to cook perfectly, it wasn’t happening. She said, “I am really trying. But it’s not happening.” Farah came and hugged the actress, assuring, “It’s going to happen. It’s not how life works.”
Joining Tejasswi in the bottom three were Dipika Kakkar and Rajiv Adatia. During the episode, Dipika’s dish was unfortunately declared the worst by the judges. In contrast, contestants Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh and Nikki Tamboli received high praises for their culinary creations. The judges appreciated Faisal Shaikh, aka Faisu’s dish, and chef Vikas Khanna even mentioned that he uses this dish in his restaurant. At the end, the judges even requested the other candidates to taste his dish, having the best balance.
In the upcoming promo uploaded by Sony TV, the show introduces a mystery box worth Rs 31 lakh, filled with some expensive ingredients. Chef Ranveer Brar opens the mystery box and introduces the ingredients to the contestants. Later, the Naagin actress clarified that each item in the box had a different price tag, with some priced at Rs 3 lakh, while others were priced at Rs 6 lakh.
Speaking about the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef season 9 premiered on January 27. Judged by chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and filmmaker Farah Khan, the show boasts a star-studded lineup featuring Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Tejasswi Prakash, Rajiv Adatia, Usha Nadkarni, Abhijeet Sawant, Archana Gautam, Nikki Tamboli and Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr. Faisu.
Adding to the show’s excitement, Bollywood actress Ayesha Jhulka made a wild card entry following the elimination of comedian Chandan Prabhakar. The culinary competition airs every Monday to Friday on Sony TV at 8 PM.
