Nikki Tamboli can’t hold back her tears as she remembered her late brother Jatin’s favourite dish in the latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef.

The cooking-based reality show Celebrity MasterChef has been stirring up drama and intense cooking challenges since its premiere. Hosted by Farah Khan, the show is now nearing its finale. The upcoming episode promises nostalgia, emotions and fun banter as contestants are joined by their family members. The show has released its latest promo and Nikki Tamboli’s emotional breakdown in it has moved her fans deeply.
In the promo, shared by Sony TV, Nikki Tamboli got emotional as she discussed her dish with the judges. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant also received praise from her father for her hard work and dedication. When Farah Khan asked about the dish she was preparing, Nikki revealed she was making Vada Pav.
Later, Chef Ranveer Brar asked her why she had chosen to make Vada Pav. This question made her teary-eyed as she explained that it was her brother Jatin Tamboli’s favourite dish. Nikki shared that her father spent all his money on her brother’s education because he was an intelligent student. “My brother said that even if I have money, I will eat only Vada Pav,” she recalled. She also revealed that she rarely received pocket money and her brother was aware of her financial situation.

She shared that her brother ate Vada Pav because money was tight and eventually, it became her favourite too. The moment turned even more emotional when Farah Khan asked her father if he is proud of Nikki. He responded, “She is the pillar of the family.”
The contestants were then seen preparing their dishes. Farah asked Gaurav Khanna if he and his sister had played Holi together, to which he replied that even his wife enjoys playing Holi. Towards the end of the promo, tension rose as the celebrities realised that one of them would be evicted from the show that night.
As of now, Dipika Kakar has been eliminated after quitting for health reasons. A few weeks ago, she had reportedly injured her shoulder. The Bigg Boss 12 winner had to leave the show just before the grand finale.
