Dipika Kakar is set to make waves through her stint on Celebrity MasterChef India. The show, to go on-air soon, features a star-studded lineup that includes Rajiv Adatia, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam and other renowned celebrities. Recently, the makers released a promo that has left fans buzzing with excitement. It highlights Deepika’s emotions as she navigates challenges while on her culinary journey in the show. The danger of elimination also looms over her as she fails to impress the judge Vikas Khanna with her dish.
The clip begins with Deepika Kakar telling, “Mai actually ek risk le rahi hu aj, kar paungi ya nahi kr paungi I really don’t know.” Judge Vikas Khanna then tells her that she will need a minimum of one hour to prepare the dish, leaving her worried. The video then goes on to showcase her talking to the viewers as she admits to not having a dish to present to the judges. While Vikas Khanna looked unimpressed, the host of the show Farah Khan entered the scene and said, “Plan E hai hamare pas, elimination.”
In another promo shared earlier, Judge Ranveer Brar is seen reminding Dipika that she is short on time as she prepares her dish. Vikas Khanna, then, questions her if she has a plan B to which Dipika confidently responds, assuring them to finish on time. As the clip progresses, she presents a beautifully crafted Crème Brûlée Tart.
As judges taste the dish, Vikas Khanna gestures that she has performed well and exclaims, “Katal” (killer).” The positive comments leave Dipika emotional, prompting Farah Khan to ask, “Dipika, ro kyun rahe ho itna? (Dipika, why are you crying so much?)”
The actress fights back her tears and delivers a heartfelt statement, saying, “Mein aaj unhe represent karti ho jinhe ye bolke dabaya jata hain, ‘arrey kitchen mein toh khana hi banani hain.’ Haan, hu meiin home cook. (Today, I represent those women who are suppressed by taunts like ‘you only have to cook in the kitchen.’ Yes, I am a home cook).”
Judged by celebrity chefs Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and filmmaker Farah Khan, Celebrity MasterChef 2025 promises an entertainment extravaganza packed with talent, passion, and creativity. Apart from the above-mentioned names, the show also features Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh (aka Mr. Faisu), Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Chandan Prabhakar and Abhijeet Sawant.
