Viewers are in for an exciting twist in the popular show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya. It is all set to take a big leap of six years, paving the way for new dynamics, perspectives and significant changes. The relationship between Karthik, played by Ashish Dixit and Vaishnavi, portrayed by Brinda Dahal will also witness a change post-leap, promising a rollercoaster ride of emotions and challenges to their bond. That’s not all. The show has several new surprises to offer to the audience in a bid to keep them hooked to the small screens.
In a chat with ETimes, Brinda Dahal, the lead actress of the show, shared her thoughts about the leap and said, “As you may have noticed, Vaishnavi now has two daughters. After the leap, these little girls will be replaced by two slightly older child actors, which will bring fresh energy to the story. With the leap, many things in the storyline will change. The biggest change for Vaishnavi is that she now has to take on the huge responsibility of raising a daughter on her own.”
Explaining further, the actress also noted how her character in the show will navigate challenges as she lives separately from her husband in the daily soap. She narrated, “Karthik and I are no longer living together, which has brought many difficulties into my life. I have to navigate the challenges of being a single mother while dealing with the emotional distance between us. The most interesting part of the story will be to see whether Karthik and I can overcome our differences and reunite as a family.”
Brinda Dala’s statement about the show’s plot has raised many questions with the first being – How will Vaishnavi and Karthik’s lives look like after a 6-year leap? Will Chhathi Maiyya help Vaishnavi to reunite with her husband Karthik? What will the surprising new twist in their story will look like?
Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya airs on Sun NEO TV every Monday to Sunday at 7 PM.
