The Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 finale episode began on an emotional note. Host Amitabh Bachchan shared a special message with the audience and expressed his gratitude for receiving constant support from the contestants, studio audience, and loyal viewers. The actor opened up about the unforgettable memories of the season and appreciated the fans for making it more special and memorable.
As Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 wrapped up its final episode, Amitabh Bachchan talked about the amazing journey of the season. He recalled how every season carries the same expectation: Will they continue to get the love, support, and gratitude that have kept them going for 25 years?
Sharing his gratitude for the fans, he said, “Iss khel ne, iss manch ne aur maine jitna chaha hai usse kahi zyaada mujhe mila hai, aur lagataar milta rehta hai. Humari umeed hai ke yehi chaah issi tarah bani rahe aur kabhi na toote. (This game, this stage has given me much more than I wanted, and I keep getting more. We hope that this wish remains like this and never breaks)”
He further added, “Agar yahan bole gaye shabdon ne kisi mein umeed jagayi hai, toh main samjhunga ki humari 25 varshon ki sadhna safal rahi. Na rukiye, na jhukiye. Aap jahan hain, jaise hain, anmol hain. Mere priya hain, mere apne hain. (If the words spoken here have awakened hope in someone, then I will understand that our 25 years of hard work have been successful. Do not stop, and do not bow down. Wherever you are, whatever you are, you are priceless. You are my dear, you are my own)”
In the finale episode, Mayur Jain secured his place on the hot seat by winning the Fastest Finger First round. Big B saw his constant smile and asked about the reason behind it. Mayur said that it was the first time he had met the actor, and seeing his parents on the show made him even happier.
Mayur Jain, who is from Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, revealed that he had always wanted to participate in Kaun Banega Crorepati. He had tried to sign up for KBC Juniors before but failed. With assurance and clever use of lifelines, Mayur won Rs 6,40,000 with ease.
For Rs 12,50,000, Amitabh Bachchan asked a question: Which country was the first to welcome the new millennium on 1st January 2000? Mayur chose to end the game since he was unsure of the answer. He guessed before he left and chose Option D) Samoa, while Option C) Kiribati was the right response. Along with an extra Rs 80,000 as a bonus, he left with Rs 6,40,000.
