Aly Goni is back on screen with a brand new and gripping crime thriller. The actor is playing the role of a righteous police officer in Khadaan, which was released a few days back on Hungama OTT. Aly recently shared the trailer of his show on social media with a synopsis of the plot. Fans of the actor could not stop but praise his amazing transformation as the officer. The series was released on March 11 and stars other popular names.
Aly Goni shared the trailer where he is seen making an entry as Veer Pratap Singh, the new inspector of a cursed village. He aims to solve a case of multiple murders near a coal mine with his team. He faces obstacles in the form of the villagers’ belief in supernatural activities, misleading clues and the village goon, Mahipal. As he goes deeper into solving the case, he comes face to face with threats and dangers.
Along with the trailer, Aly wrote, “It’s out…Watch #Khadaan…Steaming Now on Hungama OTT. A cursed village hides a secret deep within its abandoned mines. Those who enter rarely return, and those who do are never the same. As the past stirs, one question remains—will the truth rise, or stay buried forever? Find the answers on Hungama OTT.” Fans were quick to react to his post. While one of them stated he looked “Amazing”, another said they “cant wait to watch.”
The series also stars Karanveer Bohra, Rebecca Anand, Jinal Joshi, Divya Sharma and more. Karanveer plays the antagonist, Mahipal in the series. Speaking about his transformation, he told IANS, “Mahipal is unlike any character I’ve played before—he’s loud, fierce, unpredictable, and powerful. He asserts dominance not just through his actions but through his entire aura. From his attire and gold chains to his unapologetic attitude, it’s a complete departure from anything I’ve done in the past. Physically preparing for the role was intense, demanding rigorous training and discipline.”
On the work front, Aly Goni is known for his roles in television dramas such as Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kuch To Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, Naagin 3, Dil Hi To Hai and others. Aly was most recently part of the star-studded cast of the cooking reality show LaughterChefs: Unlimited Entertainment Season 1.
