My friends and I would gather on our building terraces, filling balloons with colored water and enjoying friendly water fights.”

Talking about the rituals for the day, he shared, “On the day of Holi, we would start our morning by seeking blessings from elders and applying gulal on them as a mark of respect. Then, it was all about running around, playing with colors, and dancing to dhol beats.”

Abhishek emphasised that Holi is a festival that brings people closer with its warmth and fun. Finally, he mentioned that he would celebrate the day with his friends in Mumbai, who have become his extended family away from home.
