Ankita Lokhande, currently seen on the comedy cooking reality show Laughter Chefs, is making time for her loved ones amidst her busy shoot schedule. A social media enthusiast, she often shares glimpses of her personal life with fans.

Recently, the actress took a nostalgic trip to her childhood home in Indore, accompanied by her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, and her mother, Vandana Pandis Lokhande. She documented the heartfelt visit in a YouTube video, giving fans a peek into her emotional journey. In an Instagram post, Ankita was seen getting overwhelmed with emotions as she stepped inside the house. One particularly touching moment showed her breaking down in tears while remembering her late father, Shashikant Lokhande, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 68. Though he is no longer with her, Ankita continues to cherish his memories in her heart.

As Ankita broke down in tears, she embraced her mother, and soon, both were overcome with emotion as they reminisced about the golden memories tied to their childhood home. Expressing her feelings in her mother tongue, Marathi, Ankita shared that had her father been present, she wouldn’t have been so emotional. However, in his absence, the tears flowed naturally, reflecting the deep void left in their hearts.

Following this emotional moment, Ankita gave Vicky a tour around her house, sharing many anecdotes from her childhood. She was even heard explaining that it was her nani (maternal grandmother) who is credited for her upbringing. The Pavitra Rishta fame also explained how she had dreamt of many things right from this home.

As the video surfaced on Instagram, Ankita’s fans showered her with love. One user said, “Cute,” followed by a heart emoji. Another person mentioned, “Childhood memories are always special.” A person shared, “When you visit your childhood home you feel something beautiful, so guys Don’t stay too long in the city and forget your childhood home.”

On the work front, the 40-year-old is currently appearing in Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment Season 2 alongside Vicky Jain. Comedian Bharti Singh hosts the show, while Harpal Singh returned as the host and expert chef. It features other celebrity contestants, including Rahul Vaidya, Sudesh Lehri, Krushna Abhishek, Rubina Dilaik, Abdu Rozik, Kashmera Shah, Mannara Chopra, Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel.
