Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakkar made her much-awaited return to television with Celebrity MasterChef, following her journey into motherhood. The first season of this cooking reality show kicked off with an exciting debut on January 27, featuring 11 celebrities competing against each other. Hosted by Farah Khan, Celebrity MasterChef has renowned chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar as its main judges.
Among the most talked-about contestants, Dipika Kakkar impressed everyone in the first week by flawlessly replicating chef Vikas Khanna’s signature dish, Brahmand.
Dipika Kakar Cooks Her Way to Immunity
The Sasural Simar Ka actress went one step closer to winning the cooking reality show, winning the first immunity pin and impressing the judges. Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh, Rajiv Adatia and Gaurav Khanna competed in this challenge with Dipika. They were instructed to make Brahmand, a speciality of chef Vikas Khanna, “Aapka aaj ka challenge hain chef Vikas Khanna ka dish ko hubahu ayese hi banana hain (Your challenge today is to make Chef Vikas Khanna’s dish exactly like him),” Ranveer Brar added. The contestants had only two hours to make this challenging dish.
No doubt! For all of the contestants, it was a rather tough task. A few hours later, the judges began sampling each competitor’s dish. While Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash and Dipika Kakar were praised for their dishes, the Bigg Boss 12 winner was declared by Vikas Khanna, Farah Khan and Ranveer Brar. The actress got an immunity pin, which she can use at any point throughout the show. Dipika was ecstatic after receiving this token of appreciation in Celebrity MasterChef. Along with host Farah Khan and two judges, fellow contestants Gaurav and Tejasswi congratulated her on the victory.
For the unversed, Abhijeet Sawant, Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam, Chandan Prabhakar and Kabita Singh are also candidates on Celebrity MasterChef India. The judges have made it very clear that the challenges will be tougher for the contestants in the upcoming episode of Celebrity MasterChef.
