Bihar Board class 12 exam dress code: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released a fresh set of guidelines regarding the dress code of students appearing in Class 12 examinations. The revised guidelines prohibit students from wearing socks and shoes inside the examination hall. The admit cards issued to the candidates mentioned similar guidelines, however, the Board made certain amendments taking into account the weather conditions in the state and allowed students to wear socks and shoes in the exam hall from February 1 to 5, 2025. As the weather conditions have improved, BSEB has decided to follow the stipulated rules for the exams scheduled from February 6 to 15, 2025.

The BSEB took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the changes in the dress code. The tweet reads, “It is notified to the candidates that in view of the improvement in the weather conditions, students will be prohibited from entering the examination halls wearing shoes and socks for the Intermediate exams 2025 scheduled from February 6 to 15, 2025. Students not following the said guidelines will be denied entry into the examination hall.” (rough translation)

The Bihar School Examination Board has established a control room to oversee the Inter theory exams, which will be operational from January 31 to February 15. The Class 12 exams are scheduled to take place from February 1 to February 15, 2025, in two shifts—morning (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and afternoon (2 PM to 5 PM).
